Coweta’s Kaylee Dodson – Mazzio’s Athlete of the Year Scholarship Nominee
- Updated: September 26, 2019
Known for her hitting and leadership on the field, Coweta senior Kaylee Dodson will be sidelined this season after an injury during summer league play put her out for her final season as a Lady Tiger. Dodson has not allowed the injury to slow her down. Head coach Desiree Booker said of Dodson, “Dodson remains a leader for this team, leads in fundraising and will support her team this year from the dugout.” The injury has not impacted her commitment to Coweta softball. Dodson has shown what it truly means to have team spirit and what true leadership looks like as she heals from the dugout.
